We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, and information volunteered by the consumer (such as survey information and/or site registrations). Information Gathering and Usage

When you register for the SilkStart application we ask for information such as your name, company name, email address. Members are not required to provide a credit card to trial the service. SilkStart uses collected information for the following general purposes:

Products and Services Provision, Billing, Identification and Authentication, Services Improvement, Contact, and Research.

Regarding compliance on our website, www.silkstart.com, the information we collect may be used for marketing purposes and stored in our internal marketing tools. Upon request, the personal data can be deleted or shared with the requester provided that they can verify their identity.

Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, that is sent to your browser from a web site’s computers and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies are required to use the SilkStart application. We use cookies to record current session information, but do not use permanent cookies. You are required to log-in to your SilkStart Account after a certain period of time has elapsed to protect you against others accidentally accessing your account contents. SilkStart will not collect personally identifiable information through tools such as Google Analytics unless we have your consent to.

We partner with third parties such as Google to either display advertising on our Web site or to manage our advertising on other sites. Our third party partner may use technologies such as cookies to gather information about your activities on this site and other sites in order to provide you advertising based upon your browsing activities and interests. The information collected does not contain your personal information. Data Storage

SilkStart uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run the SilkStart application. Although SilkStart owns the code, databases, and all rights to the SilkStart application, you retain all rights to your data. Data shared with third parties for the purposes of opt-in integrations is subject to the privacy policies and terms of service of those services.

Disclosure

SilkStart may disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate the Terms of Service.

Changes

SilkStart may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your SilkStart primary account holder account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
